Sen. Cruz (R-Texas) introduces Legislation around a US Digital Currency

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) introduced legislation on 30th March 2022 to prohibit the Federal Reserve from issuing a central bank digital currency directly to individuals.
The concern with CBDC's is that once introduced, Governments will have unprecedented control over an individuals use of their finances.
